Hi everyone. I can't believe that today is Maggie's OTJ one month anniversary - one whole month since her OTJ party!! Maggie and I have really missed all of you on LL! I think back when I first found the forum and how little I knew about home testing and how much help and support all of you wonderful Beans gave me any time of the day or night. The LL Message Board is just so awesome, and all the support and friendships mean so much to me. Thank you everyone! I still check in on LL daily to see how everyone is doing. We are sending positive thoughts, healing vines and snowflakes for all those kitties not feeling so well lately.
Maggie can't wait until more of you join her at the Falls. It's a wonderful place, and she just loves it! For the WCR - it couldn't be better! Maggie is doing just wonderful and has become so playful, almost like she's regressing into a kitten, demanding her play time with her favorite toy (furry mouse on a pole). She goes into the cube to signal to me when it's time to begin play time. It's usually when I am on the computer that she demands "Maggie time." Or if I am reading the paper on the sofa, she plops herself down on the newspaper! Her bg levels have stayed within range, and I'm just using the one meter (Alpha Trak). Well, ah hmmm... the only time I will also use the Relion is if I feel the Alpha Trak is off!! I had been testing every day, as it's a little hard to give up the meter, but soon I'll slack off and check less often. Now that she's been OTJ over a month, I can breathe easier and let up on the ear pricking. Maggie still jumps onto the sofa at times when I call her name, as she's thinking it's time for the test and the reward of her favorite Gerber baby food.
Take care everyone and lots of hugs and love to all from Maggie and me. Come see us soon okay! Bye, bye!
