Yesterday

Zener is doing fine this morning although his appy isn't so great. I had to break out the fortiflora with the first bowl. A little tummy manipulation helped and of course he got a bit of cypro that will kick in around +1. I'm addicted to that stuff. :lol: :lol:

OT: We had teeny tiny salads from the garden for dinner last night - 6 small lettuce leaves, 1 Juliet tomato (bigger than a cherry tomato but smaller than a Roma) and some dill. Woohoo!!! That is an accomplishment for Flagstaff. :lol:

Sending healing vines to ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter. Yay for Mariko's Lucy feeling better! Thinking of beans who have lost kitties, we miss them too. OTJ trials are going well for Beast and Oliver. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Happy Caturday, LL!

Hi Liz. Nice AMPS for Zener this morning. I hope he gets his appetite back. Maybe he'll test the water in the Lagoon today. Come on Zener, you can get there!

Congratulations on your home grown salads. Any salad made from ingredients that you grew yourself is better than any salad you could ever buy. Sounds like you and Anne done good with your vegetable garden. :lol:

It looks like another blue surf for Zener today. Maybe he'll take a dip in the lagoon tonight. I hope his appy is better this evening. Woo hoo on the salad from the garden. It always tastes better.

Hi guys,
The Z Man is lookin' good in his lower, pretty flat, blues. Nice, relaxing colors for a Saturday.

So, the harvest is in! Congrats on your salad!!! Next year, when our little greenhouse will again be functionable, we are going to try tomatoes. We miss our own, fresh basil, oregano, rosemary, and arugula. The farmers' market is great, but you can't just step out the door and pick fresh herbs.

Love those blue surfs! I hope his appy has recovered and stays that way the rest of the day.

Garden salads are the best. I messed up on the lettuce location so results there have been miserable this year, but our tomatoes are also coming along now. I've got orange, red, and pink skinned ones on the counter. After all your work this year in the garden (and suitable fertilizing by the kitties), paws crossed for larger salads next year. Do you ever use cold frames?

Thanks all for stopping by today. Zener decided he hadn't been on the trampoline in a few days. :roll: So, an early sleep for the night duty bean. ;-)
