Afternoon-eve LL! Was busy freaking out over our next geological event-THE HURRICANE may be heading for us now!!!OMG I cannot take another event--The stress is overloading my brain
Think if it comes up here I will evacuate, as we are about 5-7 blocks to ocean & canal on the next block!

Actually I had a friend over today for a reading & then we went OTL at a seaside restaurant & sat outside..
It was Lovely and I really had a nice time.
Moonie has been sleeping and is quite comfy--Think she ate right before I tested her..But OK she is still blue.
Hope she comes down by tomorrow--Be back later--Hugs & Love frrom us!

Sounds like you had a really nice time. It was a really beautiful day here too. Hope the hurricane looses intensity and doesn't cause much damage. I live in ct and am in the path also, but I don't live as near water as you. [I live about 1hr away]

Hi Roni, I hope the hurricane moves out to sea. We're even supposed to feel its effects up here if it stays on its present course. Batten down the hatches and make sure that you have set aside drinking water (1 gallon per person/cat), just in case. Get out the candles and the hurricane lamps. One of my fondest memories is of a hurricane on L.I. in the late 1940s. My parents were out (have no idea where or why) and I was home with my big sister and we sat on the sunporch, watching the storm and she gave me a cigarette!! I was about 8 or 9 years old!!!

Moonie, give your mamabean some nice numbers tonight, OK? Roni, It's neat that you had such a nice lunch with your friend.

Good evening, guys! Thanks for stopping by our condo today... Willie's ego is all swollen from all the compliments! Moonie is looking good in blue tonight!

It's been 5 years since I moved from the Florida Coast to the midwest... part of me actually misses the insanity of hurricane watch. I still have "Cone on Your Phone" sending me text messages of the updated coordinates and projected track. In addition to water, be sure you have shelf-stable food that doesn't need heating and plenty of cat food for the kitters. Hey... maybe Grammy's Pot Pie would be a good choice for everyone? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
