Morning all!
Last night was eventful for Jetta. Since she got really sick back on 8/11, she's been locked in the spare bathroom at night. Last night was the first night she wanted out and she seemed well enough to come out. It was wonderful to have her back in her spot, which has always been taking up 85% of my pillow, curled abound my head. Even her bratty little kitten sister left her alone! :o But as a result of not being in the bathroom, she only ate about 1/3 of what she normally does. Thinking all that could be why her AMPS was higher than we've seen the last 2 days. Either way, she was happy last night and I got a little more sleep than I have been.

hmmm... at this stage, i would expect her preshot number to be lower than usual if she hadn't eaten as much as usual during the cycle. i think the high preshot number is indicative of a drop lower than you know followed by a bounce.

last night's preshot number was 171. the +2 was 91. that's a significant drop (the +2 *should be* around the same as the preshot number). when you see a drop like that at +2, chances are you'll see an active cycle. you'll want to continue monitoring in order to catch the low.

monitor carefully when she clears this bounce. she may be looking for a reduction soon...

Hi Jill - Al our +2 and +3 numbers show pretty significant drops. I didn't test after +2 last night, she was in such a good mood and we both needed sleep. This morning she seems to be coming down nicely again.

Hi guys .. so nice to see jetta coming down .. it was a pretty big drop in just two hours though, so she might have some action lined up for today! Hope you guys have a great day!

So at 8.5 Jetta came down nicely today. too bad her mother had an exceptionally foul day and didn't monitor her more closely... We shall see what PMPS brings us... nailbite_smile

exactly. when she experiences a quick drop from pink and red numbers, there's more of a cushion.
when she experiences those drops from blue numbers, it's time to be on high alert. you want to catch the low.

i hear ya on the sleep issue. most of us have to resort to "sleep tests" in order to function the next day. a sleep test is when you go to bed and then set an alarm to get up to test the cat... then go back to bed.

jetta appears to be on a mission. she's clearing her bounces in only one cycle. watch for a dose reduction earning cycle. it's coming. :mrgreen:
 
Sigh. I swear I knew PMPS would be wacky. First 417 popped up and I said 'what the' so I retested and got 408. Can't be 2 bad strips in a row. She did eat about +10.5 but she alwasys eats at that time.
