Good afternoon LL. DH here again. Marje woke up feeling very sick, and is at the hospital getting some more tests and bloodwork done. She was feeling a little better by the time we took her in, but we need to find out what is going on with her. She wouldn't let me stay with her, said I needed to be home with Gracie. So, waiting to see what happens there.

We had to stall this morning. Miss G went from 81 at +10 to 38 at +12. Never done that before. She was still in the 40's at +13 and we had decided to skip. She went up into the 80's in the next hour, so we decided to get some juice on board and go ahead and shoot late. We gave her a reduction to f.5u. She is happy and purry as usual, all P's in place. We expected her usual post vet visit bounce yesterday, and are really happy and surprised with her cycle yesterday and last night, except for the 38 this morning of course. Thought she was on her way to a bounce after the +2 this morning too, but she seems to have leveled off.

I'll keep you posted on whats going on with Marje. She feels bad she hasn't been able to help on the board, but we have to get her sorted out.

Congrats on the reducie for Gracie, but wow with the timing and all! So sorry Marje is still so sick. Sending lots of healing vines and prayers for Marje. Hope these tests can diagnose what it is and treat. I hope Gracie keeps a nice surf. You're a great caregiver, Mike.

Wow Gracie! Nice reducie. Healing vines for Marje. We hope they get it figured out so she can start the road to recovery. Thinking of all of you!

Gracie :shock: I wonder if it could be that she's worried about her mommy? Please send my love to Marje, she is like superwoman so being ill must not sit well with her at all! Sending many many healing vines her way.

It appears she wants to do the freefalling thing. Maybe we should have skipped. :roll:

Marje has had blood work and EKG. She finally got to see a doctor. They are doing an ultrasound, and giving her some meds and squids.

Great job, Mike! Congrats on the decrease - lots going on at your house. Sorry to hear Marje is sick. I do hope they figure out what's wrong and get her some relief soon!!

Sorry Marje is still sick, hope the tests reveal whats going on and Marje gets better soon. And I hope Gracie will settle down this evening for you!

I hope Marje and the docs can stomp out whatever bug is causing her illness. We love our Marje and hope she will be smiling in the comfort of her own home really soon. (((Marje)))

WOW on Gracie - what a day for you. My gosh you must be tired. Good luck too with the eduction - I hope Gracie likes this dose.

It looks like Princess Grace is surfing now, I hope things calm down for you < Mike. Don't go second guessing yourself, we are treying to understand CATS you know!

What a day! Glad gracie is coming up for you after all that hard work. Sending Marje BIG hugs and healing vines for her tummy. I hope they can figure things out for her quickly so she can get the proper treatment she needs. Thinking of all of you.

Thank you all, my dear friends, for your healing vines and wishes and for supporting Mike......he has been tremendous this last week while I was gone to S.D. and then while I've been sick.

I spent all day in the E.R. and they did a full panel of bloodwork and everything came back beautifully normal. They also did an U/S and I think they were really leaning towards it being a gallbladder issue and possibly surgery being
required because they would not let me have anything to eat or drink. :shock: :shock: That was pretty tough as I am constantly drinking water and I eat small meals all day. I also have found that as long as I was eating, I wasn't
feeling so bad and the reason I was getting so sick during the night was because I wasn't eating.

Anyway.....they believe I have a peptic ulcer so they sent me home with meds and an order to see a GI specialist. I've never had to stay in the ER/hospital for that amount of time or have an IV (ouch!) and I was surprised that I
got no sleep.....so much noise and commotion.

Thankfully, Mike brought me home and had dinner ready in record time and I am now feeling better having had fluids that didn't come out of a bag and good food.

Please forgive me if I haven't responded to any PMs and haven't been on your condos. It's been a tough week and I hope the meds will help get me on the upswing and start getting some energy back.

Mike did an amazing job with Gracie today....she has really thrown him some curves.

Congrats Julie and Orange!!!! Great job! I hope Mannie is much, much better today.

((((Marje)))) What a day. I am so sorry you spent it in the ER but I hope they found what ails you and the treatment will be effective. Sending healing energy to you. Does the KTSS need to get the bean vetty smell off of you? Mike is totally amazing.

Gosh, I was really worried. I'm glad they sent you home, Marje. Looks like Gracie is doing well. That's good, and it must make you feel better. Hope you are your old self right away, but please do not feel bad that you can't be here for all of us! Take the time you need to get well, please! Healing vines coming your way.

Hello Marje and Mike,
Peptic ulcer? Oh, I am so sorry .
My 16 yr old daughter is also suspected of having that and we are dealing with the same issues.
It is very miserable so I really feel for what you are going thru.
It's not a quick healing process.
But sometimes just identifying the problem can help rather than not knowing what's wrong.
I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Marje, Mike, Gracie, Tobey, Gus,

Oh wow. We were out last night, got home late, and only saw your posts this morning. Marje, I'm glad that your tests came back normal, but sorry to hear that you might have an ulcer or gall bladder issues. I read somewhere that the latest medical thinking about peptic ulcers is that they are caused by a virus. So I hope you can lick that bug and feel better very soon. Are the doctors sure you don't have a case of food poisoning?

Anyway, lots and lots of healing vines are heading your way today. And lots and lots of no-stress vines, also. Keep your cool! Mike, you are doing a fantastic job. Gracie: don't do anything dramatic today. Just be with your mamabean and help her get better (you too, Tobey and Gus!).
