WCR: All Ps in place. Appy is ok today. Nothing like yesterday, but it's ok. Got snuggles last night and this morning. Don't let her fool you...this morning was all about the 'wake mama with obnoxiousness so she'll get up and feed me - damn, she's just snuggling with me instead' snuggles! :-D She's now laying on the floor, belly aching after eating her breffis. I'm doing the same thing on the couch after my 1/2 donut.

Super doper tired today. Hoping the sugar from the donut kicks in soonish. :YMSIGH: Wishing everyone a wonderful Friday with happy, healthy kitties. Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Morning Deborah,
Isn't it interesting we can tell the difference between "love you mom" snuggles and "feed me mom" snuggles ;-) I hope today flies by.. the 1/2 donut kicks in and you get lots of good sleep tonight. Keep on sliding down Shasta.. nice and easy today.

I hope Shasta gives you some blue when you get home and surfs safely tonight so you can get caught up on some sleep.

Today was an ok day. It's been a weird week. I don't remember any first week of school feeling so strange and I can't even really describe it. Today was no different. However, tonight was horrible.

Tonight, I had the sad and unfortunate chore of having the last of the miniature ponies put down. The owners are out of town (in the mountains with spotty cell signal), so I've been on horse duty at night. I went out to feed them tonight and didn't see the mini. Eventually, I found her laying down in the back pasture. Her breathing was labored and she was bloated beyond the point of "fixable" in my opinion. The equine vet confirmed this when he got out there. The owner called just as he was trying to stand her up (which lasted about 2 seconds) and after talking to the vet, she made the ultimate call. The vet was very sweet and asked if I wanted to stay or if I needed to walk away. I stayed, but I did tell him that the day it is my horse, I will still stay, but I will be a slobbering mess. What a crummy night.

Gallop free, little Brownie. Nutmeg and Missy are waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Hi Deborah,
I am sorry to hear about Brownie.
It's so sad her owner was away, but I'm glad she had you with her.

Shasta's numbers are looking very nice.
