Hi Folks!
So I woke up this morning to a gang of kitties in the kitchen. They were all focused on the pantry door. I looked and realized they had gotten it open and got into the cat treats and cat nip! Of course now we are out of both! I didn't even think about Scooter until about an hour later he came and sat on my shoulder and had that "I don't feel well" look about him. I don't know how many treats he ate but his bg was ski high! It is just in the last hour or two that it has started to come down finally. Currently it is 239 so I am going to stay up with him till he comes down a lot more into the below 100 mark. His little body seems to like the 70's when it is carb free.
For those of you I don't know yet Scooter is a carb kitty. If he has a couple pieces of cat kibble his bg ski rockets and if he stays on the fancy feast diet his bg is normal.
So there is now new handles on the pantry door and a lock. I never imagined I would need to lock my kitties out of the pantry. :lol:
