Good morning, L& LL,

Rusty had a rough-breathing night early on, but later seemed better. He spent most of yesterday in his carrier again. This is new for camp and it has to be because he needs recovery rest. This morning we have 2 good signs: he kneaded for the first time in weeks; he didn't go back into his carrier. He also ate all his nighttime fuds last night. Today is day 7 of antibiotics. I hope Convenia will work on pneumonia!

We had violent storms yesterday and last night. Lightening was all around and the wind was fierce. Miracle that we didn't lose power. We were under a tornado watch for 8 hours.

Well, I spoke too soon. Rusty is back in his carrier. It's the closest thing we have here to his cube.

Bbl. wishing all a good day. We're heading down the road to our friends' house for pancakes.

Yay for the good appy and happy feet!

Despite all the doom and gloom predicted yesterday, we didn't actually get any rain until 5:00 pm; it poured then but it didn't last for very long. Sounds like you got all the storms.:eek:

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Oh my.... I've been gone from the Bord for a while... Rusty has pneumonia? BE WELL Sir Rusty! I will be thinking of you today. thousands of vines for you!

Enjoy Camp, and the pancake breakfast.

More news from me later. Wedding was gorgeous, Hawaii beautiful, and we all had a great time. I hope all is well with you and Edward.

Hope Rusty's breathing improves and that he feels better each day.

Yesterday Azalea stayed hunkered in her carrier after trip to reg vet for fluids yesterday afternoon. Happened last week too but only it's been after reg vet (not after acupuncturist who's in her own practice). I let her stay put but by supper time, brought her out twice to assist feed her two suppers, then back she went in between and after. Then, when she saw Steve heading upstairs with her new supper dish (third one), out she came and followed him upstairs. True love.

Hope the day shines for you all at camp❤

Glad you're eating your fuds Rusty, it will help keep you big and strong. Doodles slept in his carrier often too. Hopefully he continues to get better and the resting helps too. Mega vines and prayers. Enjoy camp!

Rusty seems lots better today. He's out of the carrier, ate some breakfast, flew out the screen door when Edward opened it and almost caught a tree squirrel. Now he's sitting on the porch while we eat lunch. Breathing still sounds labored, but not as alarming as last night.

It's a beautiful, cool, sunny day today, but very windy. We decided to go to the Adirondack Museum instead of for a paddle. We'll paddle in the early evening, when the wind usually drops. Pancake breakfast was delicious.

The Hummingbirds are getting ready for their migration. The males are already gone. I just refilled the feeder here so they can stock up.

Bbl
