I am very impressed that Pumbaa didn't bounce high after his low of 42 last night! <--insert anti-jinx that this doesn't happen tonight, even though that would mean that I could get some decent sleep.

I decreased his dose this morning from 2.50U to 2.25U, and may regret going the full .25U for a decrease, but time will tell.

I was very pleased with his AM numbers, and the fact that he actually HAD a nadir at +8. The fact that he's having nadirs again is a big thing for me!

He's still trying his best to hide from me during injection times, and I can't blame him. But today, he was right out there in the open for me to rub his belly, or pet him, or grab him for testing. I so appreciate that!

I need to test him for ketones, but have tried so many times in the last week, and he simply won't cooperate with me like he used to, and now just does a major stinky dump when I put him in the litter box with the lid off and with my peespoon in hand. *LOL* He's such a character!

I don't know how I've been surviving on less than 4 hours of sleep per night, and still working all day and being fairly lucent. But I am tickled that Pumbaa has gone green now for seven days straight!

SuZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze <--so needing sleep
