Afternoon LL! All is well here-Moonie is doing well & right now is drinking a bunch of water, a sight I rarely see!
DH is off this week, and weather is supposed to be crummy for a few days--We are going to try to go on this Wetlands cruise maybe Wednesday, and out to Hamptons for the day & evening Friday(DPS is coming to shoot & feed Moonie dinnertime)..

Moonie's numbers are consistantly blue, but I'd like to see a bit of green in there..Will check her again today Bet. +5-6 as that is her nadir--Hope that green is there!--Hey I'll even take 101(almost green) :lol: :lol:


FOR THOSE OF US WHO GET FRUSTRATED BY THIS ILLOGICAL ILLNESS:
I have never seen such a devoted bunch of people as I see here, going Way Way above & beyond for their Furbabies!!
Dont get frustrated, and Dont Give UP!!!--It's a long & winding road here--some will go Otj, some wont..
But each & every cat here will have a great shot at living a comfortable, happy life-
FOR THIS WE ALL SHOULD BE GRATEFUL & PROUD OF OURSELVES!!

I agree, very well said! And for that you shall be rewarded with green!!!!!!!!!!! And me and mocha wanted to say thanks for stopping in her condo today, it means a lot to have so many people keeping an eye on us!

wonderfully said although I thought at first you said a long and whinny road lol I am very tired this morning, or could it be a Freudian slip on my part? :lol:

OH SO CLOSE!!! I'm counting it as an almost green--Guess I have to do a +6 now just to check!!(+5-+6 is really her nadir!)
She's going surfing on the green floor anyway--
Talk about frustrating--- My last 2 yrs & 7 mths here!! Best years of my life & soooooo interesting!! :-D
Posted that on health also--Hope it helps the newbies, it is so frustrating!! Oh well, as Barb & Tuffy would say--Onward & Upward!! :mrgreen:

I wish I'd read your condo before I posted this morning....probably would've helped me because that's EXACTLY the way I felt all day yesterday and it spilled over into today. Thanks for the words of encouragement and hopefully I can put them to good use!

Hi Roni, That was a lovely post! I will think of it everytime I get discouraged.
Moonie had a good day today and I think she enjoyed her surf. Stu thought she looked smashing! He can't wait for the Green Full Moon party tomorrow. He's working on that chipmunk dish, but it will require more chipmunks than we have here at the moment (and, of course, they would have to be caught; they are so cute, I don't know what I would do if Stu actually caught one!)
Your staycation week sounds like lots of fun. I hope the weather cooperates.

Well, we did 2 almost green numbers, but didnt get to actual green, but Moonie was trying hard!
As long as she is in some normal range numbers during the day, I am happy, as I know she feels good. :-D
It's a cool night ,dont need AC, and the autumn is closing in!! I say Thanks, as the heat kills me, so cooler temps are welcome! :razz:

Ready for the Green Full Moon Party--So it's a Full Moon and a Mercury Retrograde!!!--Dont make any deals or sign any contracts till 9/12/10, when Mercury goes direct!-It means communications breakdowns, so keep it simple!!

do you think guilt would work? Casually drop hints about John stepping in and what a run Tess gave him?

some may be on insulin off and on for the rest of their lives.

and i wouldn't trade a minute of it. feline diabetes, although frustrating, is a treatable condition...

Moonie - your mom is lurking with that meter - waiting for green. Those nearly greens are driving her nuts - better just to give her the greens otherwise she might start repoking you just to see if she can get green. :mrgreen: Nice numbers - even if they aren't green!
