Yawn. I once again teach a night class on Tuesdays and then I have to get up bright and early on Wednesday to teach in the morning. And all of that after very little sleep. Luckily, I will be done by 2:30 pm today and I already see a nap in my near future.

Both boys are doing great. The weather has finally cooled down and they are all enjoying the open windows.

I used to wonder how I ever would have dealt with fd if I had been working. I had to leave by 7:30 and often didn't get home until 4-5.
I am really fortunate that I live close to campus and that I have a long enough break in between classes that I can run home and check on everyone. It's not ideal and it usually means that I have to eat lunch in my car - but it's much more manageable than a regular 9-5 schedule.

I hadn't realized he was still a foster - you've had him so long!
Yes, indeed. His two year annifursary with me is coming up soon. He is not really available for adoption (and I would never give him up), but I can't afford to adopt another special needs animal at the moment. I think we have 10 diabetic cats that are in various foster homes at the moment. It's definitely much better than having them stay at the shelter where they can't be monitored much.

That sounds like a great arrangement!

So nice to see them both doing so well. How are the rest of your critters?

Most of them are doing great! Lenny did a 5 k with me last weekend. I am still amazed at his progress. He was hardly able to stand before his disc surgery in March, but with all of his rehab and water therapy, he is doing great.

My two little girls, Flora and Iris, are both well. They are still the babies and everyone likes to "mother" them. Mandarin, in particular, just adores them. Iris continues to sound snorkely, but she FINALLY doesn't have any discharge from her nose or ears (anti-jinx).

My two foster kits, Moon and Boots, are still with me. Boots came home with a gooey eye after the last adoption event and is finishing a course of eye meds. They are growing like week. They are probably both over 4 pounds now (I haven't weighed them in a few weeks).
