Will be giving her higher carbs tonight as we will be out this evening for a few hours.

Same here, my mom buys us a new one for Christmas every year and within a week it's back to being pretty gross! Apparently yellow is one of the colors cats can see pretty well so they are very appealing. Or possibly they put drugs extra special catnip in the bananas only.
