Hi All!
My PC broke again (Gobnait knocked it off of my night stand) and I can't access googledocs on my work PC so there are no changes to my spreadsheet but I have been testing Gobnait since I stopped shooting her August 4. She is always in 70s and 80s. I am keeping her on her low carb diet and though she's getting fat (will have to cut back) she is doing great. Lots of energy, nice shiny smooth coat, neuropathy looks way better - almost gone. I can barely believe it.
I have to thank everyone here for teaching me not to feed her dry food and to keep the spreadsheet and watch the numbers.
I feel so lucky and only hope that some of the other kitties here can have such good fortune.
I also hope I'm not jinxing it even by posting this but doubt somehow that my computer keyboard has any real influence on my cat's pancreas.
It's just so amazing to me and though I feel tempted to think "well she was just never diabetic in the first place", she DID have very clear neuropathy, the terrible coat, had some urination in the house issues (just some pee smells here and there that are no longer cropping up) and she was so lethargic.
I've been telling all of my cat friends to get their cats off the high carb foods stat! I can't believe that it was just that that fixed her.
Thanks again everyone and best of luck to you all with all your good good kitties.
