Pamela with all those high numbers I'm wondering if another health issue is causing them? How are her teeth? Could one of the other medications cause high numbers?
I see you switched to Lantus in July you would have thought by now she would be in lower numbers especially with the amount of insulin.
Like to see the 348 but that is quite a dip +3.
Hopefully some more experienced eyes will peek in and help! I'd really like to see her in the yellows and blues.:)

Hi She is on the Flovent inhaler but that should not affect her numbers. Dr Bonnie our mobile vet will be here Aug 31 I have asked for two blood test IAA and Acromegaly. She has gone unregulated since Dec 2016. The Prozinc did nothing She has dipped that low a couple of times Dr Bonnie did blood work before she switched to Lantus and did not see anything unusual. Other members suggested the two blood test that I have asked for I just want her to get better:cat:

Thats good to get those tests I sure hope you get some answers:bighug::bighug: no the Flovent goes directly into the lungs. My Fritz has been dealing with asthma for a long time. Fritz was alos on Prozinc with little results. I love Levemir if she has to be on high doses of insulin you might want to at some point switch to Levemir. I was told on high doses of Lantus it can sting . Food for thought.
Praying and sending healing vines:bighug:

Thank you for the prayers and healing vibes!!! Jillian at DCIN told me that if Amethyst got to 6U of Lantus that she should be put on Levemir.Dr Bonnie will not switch her until she does her blood test. I watch her at every injection to make sure it is not hurting her. She has been on Flovent since she was 2. I very rarely have to use the Albuterol Thank God The only time I use it is if she is having an Asthma attack and I have to rush her to the hospital.:bighug:

If it was stinging, you'd be getting a complaint from her.
Shadow thought the needle itself stung and was very sensitive to getting shots..... she complained quite often.

We'll see another yellow, just have to be patient and keep going forward as you've been doing.....
