Nothing much to report here today, except last night I saw Trix walk up to a plate of food on the floor and start eating from it all on her own! I didn't have to show her the plate or anything. She only took a couple licks, but it is yet another huge kitten step in her progress towards what will hopefully eventually be independent eating! I know she's working hard towards breaking the habit of having me hold the plate, but me doing that has been a big security blanket for her, so she can take all the time she needs, as long as she eats well.
The civvies ate much better last night and this morning, too. I don't know what the morning deal was, but thankfully it seems to have been an isolated instance of craziness.
Dad's infusion consult is this morning, and I guess after that we found out the actual schedule for his chemo nailbite_smile ....
I won't be around much this weekend, since we are vending at BeadFest. I'm working the store by myself today, and then manning the booth over the weekend. I'll be able to peek in from my phone from time-to-time, but chances are I won't be able to post much. But, as always, I have all the kitties, beans, and families in my thoughts and prayers.

Very nice too on her wanting to eat some on her own. I agree too that you being there for her at meal times is a good security blanket, comfort for her. as long as it takes, huh.
