I really got to get more tests in as I suspect he needs an increase but my rabbit Pikachu is taking all my time right now - as well as my second job! I need more time in my day!

His legs are still slowly declining - maybe faster than before as I am noticing it now but he is still walking and thats something. He is in a good mood but a couple days ago we spotted now he has really bad huge chin acne. He has two big lumps the size of a dime on either side of his chin with lots of zits in them. I started him on chin wash and polysporin twice a day and I think they are a little better. I am putting it down to stress due to the vet trips.. our civvie had very minor blackheads years ago and so we have all ceramic and bowls washed daily so don't think its that.

Plus Pikachu fell and cut her leg open and her foot got swollen so the last few days I have been wrapping bandages and giving her antibiotics. She is better now but cant catch a break really. :roll: :?

does Tiggy use any plastic bowls? those are usually the culprit.
If you have a little antibiotic cream , that might help clear the chin...
I had a topical acne solution ( which was an antibiotic) and that helped tremendously.
I wonder if they rub their chins in the food while they are eating.
I had to put ceramic bowls in the auto feeder because it was the auto feeder that caused our acne problem.

No plastic, the howls are all ceramic. And I am using neosporin on them... (Polysporin is Canadian version of neosporin)

But you are right, since we switched to enzyme food for baileys diabetes he frequently has food on his chin. Looks like I will have to add chin cleaning to my daily pet routine..
