Good morning after the eclipse,
It was very interesting watching through the glasses, but we hardly had any change in overall light, although a big wind did come up. We are waiting for 2024, when the total eclipse will be here! (hopefully we'll still be here!!).
Rusty is eating pretty well, but his breathing is still rough. Last night he took off from the couch like a rocket: He spotted a mouse and spent the rest of the evening hunting. Mouserl apparently got away this time. But the Rodent Man is on high alert. I don't think it is helpful for his pneumonia, however.
We had a great day with our friends, paddling on the lake. It was very warm and very windy, so we didn't get all the way down to a beach. We did have a good swim in a lovely cove! And later we watched the eclipse from our dock. Today a major storm is approaching. I hope we don't lose power or internet (which is very iffy down here in any event).
