Yesterday had a great start and quickly turned ugly. Paws crossed the bounce is easing off.

I'm a lot happier to see flat low yellow today. Now if only she'd take it down just a bit more. Neko has just a couple cycles to show me she is clearing that bounce or we go back up again in dose. This bean has caught up on a bit of sleep, and the early morning rowing is cancelled for two weeks starting Monday so I can do more late night testing. Bring on those greens Neko!

It's another sunny day, cats are taking in the heat in the solarium. Neko has decided she loves the cat bed that used to be Theo's when she loved the wicker basket. Silly girl, the other bed always looks better unless another cat wants the one you are in. I might try combing her tummy today. Yesterday I got a ton of fur from the back and front. With all the sun we've been getting this year it seems that Neko is shedding more. Her undercoat is so thick now and getting quite a red/brown tinge to it. She's almost turning into a brunette.

Almost time to head off to physio and I'll get the paint can/brushes out when I get back. The weather is supposed to turn tomorrow.

@Liz - Neko's a slow starter, flat at the beginning of the cycle isn't uncommon. Physio went well. Slowly getting more mobility and becoming easier for the physio to loosen things up. There is another rower who broke the same elbow 3 weeks before me, but she hasn't been going to as much physio. My elbow is straighter and stronger and I started back rowing much sooner. I'm a believer in physio. :-D But two hours later I still have circles on my arm from the ICF. :lol:

I'm glad the physio is helping your elbow so much.

I'm really glad to hear your elbow is healing well. It sure takes a long time and a lot of work. One of our friends shattered her elbow about 2 years ago. She still does stretching exercises to help keep it limber, but her arm is straight and strong. She's like you - she worked hard at physio. And you add in rowing and painting!!! Congrats and continued improvement.

Nice green Neko! Tarragon's fur turns brown too when he needs a good brushing. Too bad he hates it. Have a great night Wendy!

Hi Wendy,
Can you stuff a pillow with Neko's hair yet? We comb Rusty a couple of times a day, too. He loves to be combed, even on his belly.

Wow, an actual downwards shaped cycle for the daytime! :-D :-D :lol: :lol: Last time we had one of those was 2.5 weeks ago.

@Carla - It was nice to see the daytime green. I did get back from physio in time to catch the green, so it all worked out. I've heard you have to be aggressive with physio for elbow fractures and it seems to make a difference.

@Mary - One of the few times Neko actually listened to me. :lol: :lol: I'd like to get to the point where all it took was stretching exercises for the elbow, but I guess it's early yet. At least there is improvement still happening.

@Melissa - A little surprise green late in the cycle. :mrgreen: Neko likes combing for about 2 minutes, then she hates it. What you said makes sense, her fur is redder on the sides and bottom which get less combing.

@Ella - I stopped saving Neko hair. I could probably make a very small pillow. Neko's not so fond of combing. I try to do a bit every couple of days. Rowing is my focus and keeps me motivated to do the physio. I was rather pleased to see it is making such a difference.

@Rhiannon - Lots of sibling rivalry with the beds. :lol: You are right, what was Theo's bed has a green base. Hmmm.

Nice green for Neko today! My civie Freddy hates combing with a passion! I have to sneak up on him when he's sleeping and quickly comb as much as I can before he wakes up!

Looks like I'll be getting little sleep before rowing. :shock:

@Mariko - I got a little bit of one underside before Neko timed out. More tomorrow I hope. It is a good thing I got caught up on sleep - time to make withdrawals from the sleep bank. :lol:

@Nancy - Why do the long haired cats that need it most hate combing? My medium hair civie purrs while being combed. :mrgreen: back this evening. :-D

Uh-oh....someone has other plans for you tonight! She just can't wait until Sunday to give you low numbers since you won't be rowing on Monday.

Hope you made some progress on the belly fur :-D

Guess she pulled the breaks on the dive in a spectacular fashion, or the 73 was a bad strip. Parties over, time for sleep.
