Appy down, bounce starting!! The question is, do I give 9% at +2 anyhow just in case I am wrong and to prevent a dive?

i don't think i would. gaining 60 points is a lot for a food spike - it's possible, but it seems like a lot. you could get a +1.5 and if it's still going up, i'd be thinking bounce. if it's beginning to go down, i'd think that rise had been a food spike.

thinking of your mom, elise. i hope she's doing better today.

another thought - when you shoot lower numbers, you don't usually get a dive. that's the unfortunate thing that happens when shooting high numbers. i wouldn't expect he'd dive from the 114.

I blew it. I fed and then read. I think it's a bounce and should have given him 3% but gve 9%. Oh well.

no worries! a little bit of 9% isn't going to have a huge effect on the overall cycle. i wouldn't think twice, elise - looks like he was heading up no matter what you'd fed him.

maybe it can be a "save a strip" day for you. take a break and go see your mom or do something fun for yourself. :-D

Back from spin class and in the blue. I think he will likely climb for a couple days. I was in such a rush to make class I forgot to turn off the computer. :lol:

Julie, Max seems to dive between +2 and +3 so if he wasn't going to bounce I thought he might dive from the 174 or 191. Would that be unlikely as well? He is bouncing this time. I'm done until tonight.

i'm not sure how to answer that - but when he went up from 114 to 174 at +1, i was assuming it was a bounce starting. Looks like he's clearing them pretty quickly now.

looking at his ss and it looks like a lot of his diving occurs when he's clearing a bounce - not all of it, but a lot of it.

max seems to have cleared the bounce. Maybe the 9% helped tonight.
