8/22 Martha AMPS-199

199 this morning, but she's been too close to 300 the last couple of days. I am thinking part of the reason for Martha's high BGs is the budesonide (steroid) she is on for her IBD. I wish I knew of an alternative that could help her so I could get her off this stuff. Does anyone else have a cat with IBD?

Tarragon has IBD. He is on prednisolone daily, but mainly because of his asthma not the IBD. We just adjust the insulin accordingly since we haven't been able to find an alternative that works. Nice AMPS today!

Melissa, how exactly do you adjust the insulin for the pred? Not sure how this works.
