My summer break is officially over. :arghh: Classes started yesterday and we are all trying to get used to the new routine. Getting up multiple times every night is definitely a whole lot easier when you don't have to get up early and go to work. ...but I don't think I can get away with sleeping through the night. I tried that on Sunday night. I tested right before bed and left out a bunch of food. Judging by Mandarin's mini bounce on Monday morning, he probably dropped too low. So I guess I will have to back to getting up at 2 or 3 am every night.

It's still awesome to see both of my boys in good numbers. This is day 5 on this dose for Mandarin and he has only given me one blue. Walter is staying mostly in the 100s - despite the fact that he needs yet another dental. He went to the vet on Wednesday and he once again has a lot of tartar built up and his gums look inflamed. Luckily, his blood work was almost all within normal range and he is cleared for surgery... now I just need to get him scheduled (which can be the hardest part since he is a foster cat and I have to wait for authorizations). :rolleyes:
 
Your boys look just wonderful Christina. So sorry about your lack of sleep though :( Hopefully you'll get the authorization for Walter soon enough and good to hear his BW is normal too!

Sorry your break is over. I don't know how you all working every day does the night time sugar dance. I worked 2 days in a row last week in my friend's dental office and I was dying!
 
I used to wonder how I ever would have dealt with fd if I had been working. I had to leave by 7:30 and often didn't get home until 4-5. I hope you have a good year and the boys behave.
 
I haven't looked in on you in a while, but my eye was caught by those lovely numbers! Way to go, boys! If Walter needs a dental, you wouldn't know it by looking at his SS. Good idea to get that taken care of, though. Don't want to rock that boat! I hadn't realized he was still a foster - you've had him so long!
