8/22 Lanky AMPS 313; back to ER; PMPS 442

Yesterday's Condo

I am giving Lanky 1/8 tsp L-Lysine powder (2 x day) in his meal because he has the sniffles & sneezes. He is finally starting to feel better from the vet & hospital ordeal from last week. He may be working on a dose increase too...but that is OK :smile: long as he is feeling better.

ETA: here is what I posted in Lanky's SS:
+8 difficulty breathing, off to vet, history of herpes in the eye, vet figure stress from recent vet visit awoke virus, continue w/ 1/8 tsp L-Lysine powder every 12 hours;

FDMB & Sienne do it again with the L-Lysine advice -- Go girls!!! :mrgreen:

glad to hear he might be on the upswing. i hadn't heard of the l-lysine before FDMB, but everyone here seems to be sold on it for a kitty cold. good that it's helping.

was lanky on lev this whole time, or did he switch to lev with this ER visit? somehow i thought he was on lantus.

For Julie: Lanky started on Humulin N by vet when 1st dx with diabetes (3-3-10), then with suggestions from FDMB we switched to Lantus (4-7-10), then switched again w/ help from FDMB again to Levemir (7-12-10 to present)
