Yay blue!!!! Are you thinking about maybe raising the dose a smidge more, especially the PM dose and see if maybe the brings down the AMPS? I've lost track of where things are, but that's what makes sense to me...

Yes, to a fat 3U for PM but not tonight, see below.
Right now I am very nervous about the hurricane and where its going.
I have to leave in AM by 7 to take my mother for cataract surgey. Should I give him his PM shot an hour early tonight at +13 and can I give his shot 2 hours earlier than normal in morning if I give a reduced dose? If I shoot at usual +14 tonight, it would make his AM shot at +8, if I shoot soon for +13, his AM shot would be at +9. How much should I reduce if I do this? DH will be home to test tomorrow.
Next morning, on Wed. will be similar schedule as tomorrow, then I would like to get back to my normal shooting times.

I am concerned about the Hurricane also. The media in North Carolina is starting to predict a landfall in North or South Carolina. I live about 70 miles straight inland---we get drilled by hurricanes where my home is....lots of trees down, no elec....and my biggest worry is---how am I going to keep the insulin cool?!

Maybe Irene will blow out to sea----I hate hurricanes. Floyd flooded my town.

Good Luck with the surgery.

In 2004, we had Jeanne, Frances and Ivan centers come through here, all within a month. Although I am not directly on coast, I live in N. Central area of FL, it was horrible! Frances was worst, very slow moving, lasted for days with howling winds. No electricity or water for 2 weeks, then power came back on and Jeanne came through and it was off again another 2 weeks. We did not leave and it was horrible and scary. No way to bathe, keep cool or cook. I will not leave this time either and be seperated from my cats. Can't take them to shelter and if I could they would be in different area and Henry would not get his insulin.
I get very nervous when one is headed anywhere in vicinity.
This one looks like its going to be really nasty. I am waiting to see 11 p.m. update when they get report back from hurricane hunter plane.
I pray we all stay safe!

-----Re: 8/22 Henry

Floyd and Fran have been the worse ones to come through here. I agree---they are awful.

I pray that you are safe. I will start preparing tomorrow--getting cat food etc., because once they say it is coming the supplies will fly off the shelf. I would rather be safe than sorry. I have a house on the coast of NC--the local authorities called tonight with a prerecorded call--how to get your re-entry pass.

I think this one is ours.
