Yesterday's Condo

I woke up well before the alarm to find Gabby curled up next to me. She decided that instead of cuddling, she'd drape herself across my chest. I'm not sure what happened after that since I fell back asleep but she was still curled up with me when it was time to get up.

Sort of like a feather boa, but one with fur. Gabby is getting ready for the "Season". Are you ready?

She just lo-o-oves you. She wanted to be close and feel your heartbeat.
Eat it up while it's there.....
If she stopped doing it, you would miss it.....
I'm hoping shadow will get back to doing that by winter, it's been since May.....


When my daughter was small, she always sat on me or as close to me as she could. Intertwined. Almost suffocating at times.
I had to always remind myself to "eat it up" because she would grow up and it would end.
Blink your eyes and it's over.

Hi guys .. how sweet of gabby to cuddle with you .. when mocha was a kitten she would drape herself across my throat each night .. One night I had a horrible nightmare, thinking it was something else across my throat and I ended up tossing her across the room .. she's never slept there since! Have a great day guys!

It has been a terribly sad day. I use an all feline (and all female, for that matter) vet practice. The vet that has been caring for Gabby since her diabetes diagnosis and caring for Gizmo since he moved in died yesterday. She was a wonderful and gentle spirited woman. My dearest friends also were her clients. They have a cat who becomes a whirling dervish of claws and teeth at the vet's office. And Dr. P would patiently wait for Lillie to calm down and understood just how terrified their cat was. It is a huge and untimely loss. If karma operates the way it should, there are many, many kitties waiting to greet her at the Bridge and return the kindness and caring she gave.

I am very sorry to hear your wonderful vet passed away, sounds like she will be missed by many. I hope Gabby and GIzmo will bring you some comfort. Take care and hugs to you all.

Sienne, I'm so sorry and sad for you that this wonderful Vet passed away. I can't imagine how terribly she will be missed by everyone. I'm sure many kitties will be waiting to greet her at the Bridge.

Oh no, what a huge loss for you and your community of friends. We are so very sorry. Perhaps the kitties at the bridge missed their dear vetty so much, she had to go and be with them. We wish her safe passage and a soft landing at the bridge, where we are sure she will be happily and lovingly greeted by those she cared for so well.

How sad that your wonderful vet had to leave this world before her time. I feel that she will watch over her patients from the Bridge and help them adjust to their new vets. Sending deep condolences to you and to your friends,

I am so sorry to hear of your friend's passing. Many blessings to her and her family and friends. May someone with her gentle spirit come along to guide the animal community where you live.

(((Sienne))) So sorry to hear about the passing of your vet. She sounds like she was a very special soul and I'm sure she will be greeted by all the fur babies she's loved and cared for in the past. Hugs to you and all of your friends.
