Yesterday's crazy numbers

Well after yesterday's cliff diving adventure, it looks like China's not quite through having fun yet! Going a little slower, but still going too fast! (which will just set her up to bounce again)

Sure wish I knew what to do about it. These aren't the numbers I've come to know for her and aren't making any sense. Why would she all the sudden become such a bouncy kitty?? Of course she has good reason to bounce but what the heck's going on?

Oh well..at least she didn't do it on Wednesday when I wasn't here to watch her. I'll take my small victories where I can get them I guess

She's acting fine and doing all her normal China stuff ...singing her China songs...playing her China games...dancing her China dances....oh wait...China don't dance.....lol

Still pretty sore after the surgery on Wednesday but I guess that's pretty normal. I'm supposed to have a 5lb weight limit for lifting, but China hasn't weighed less than 5 pounds since she was a kitten! Makes it kind of hard to stick to doctor's orders. I have to wonder about doctors....they tell a flu patient who's a single mother of 4 kids under 6 to go home and rest in bed....yeah right Doc...you on your way to pick up the kids and watch them for a few days?

Need to try to get to the store today at some point, but am playing it by ear. Drooler is out of Cosequin and there's just several things I need around here. Not supposed to drive for a week, but the Doc isn't taking a week off from his practice so he can come down and make sure I don't need anything from the store (darn it!)

Hope you're all having a great Friday and are ready for the weekend! After a mostly cool summer, the heat is finally on here so staying in and staying cool is OK with me

I so know what you mean about the doctors not being tuned into reality. My podiatrist seemed to think it was reasonable to expect me to sit around all day with my foot up! Granted I did do that with my first two foot surgeries, but I lived in a small apartment with two healthy cats and my DH. Now it's a 2 story cats, a DH that has a few stroke-related shortcomings, and four cats, three of which are special needs kitties! Sit with my foot up? Yeah, right! :roll: :roll: :roll:

I think China's slide is pretty reasonable, compared to others recently. Cinco is going the wrong way today. DH insists he did not get a furshot, but I have to wonder....

China, you be a good girl and jump up when needed so Mama doesn't have to lift you, okay? You can do it for her!

China's numbers are looking like a fairly normal lantus curve today. I hope you can find some time to take it easy. Sending prayers for you to heal quickly.
