I got great news last night, my SIL got her kitty completely off HC food and Hero is eating 100% raw Darwin as of a week ago!!
I guess I scared the crap out of her, and Hero took to the raw with no problem.

Here's the little Hero monster when I was cat sitting. She's very nice and purry with me when her mom isn't there for cuddles.

And this photo sums up the relationship between Hero and Templeton.
We stayed at SIL's place in North Hollywood for a few months last year. Hero got to the point of tolerating him in her space after a few months. Templeton just wanted to be friends and was very patient. He would sit outside her bedroom door for hours, with her hissing on the other side.

In the later days, she would deign to allow him in her room. This is after she fake threatened to murder him. He would just stand his ground and go into submissive mode and let her yell at him. Hilarious to watch.

Pjs on, glass of wine and book in hand, headed for the bedroom. One last test. +3 135. Making that a ~400 point drop in 3 hours.
 
It would be nice if Templeton's father could do this once in a while. But noooo, he has to calculate the gravitational abnormalities in the forest behind our house with lasers.
That's literally what he's doing right now.
