Unfortunately, I'm no stranger to picky little princesses. My precious Casey-cat (GA) was also hard to feed once the CKD really took hold. So I learned pretty much all the tricks for getting a kitty eating. The difference is that with Casey, I could leave dry food out and ply her with Temptations whenever she looked hungry. Sunny doesn't get that option, so that makes it harder and more frightening when she doesn't eat.
She did shock me late last night by going over to Simon's mostly-empty plate of Sheba cuts and eating up the leftover (gravy-licked-off) meat chunks! That was a real surprise, since recently she's been refusing to eat anything that isn't freshly-prepared.
Now if she would just get tired of working on her tan and head over to the pool!
