Gotta tell you watching you struggl with Miss Picky Princess makes me feel so blessed to have 16 that will eat anything that doesn't try to eat them first. :lol:
But I also know that frustration except here its the drooler. I've spent 6 years trying to find the perfect combination of what he needs to be eating and what he will eat :roll: I've never met a dog like him before. Not only is he ultra picky I also have to sit with him while he eats and keep reminding him to eat because if I leave, he'll forget what he's doing and stare off into space or out the windows etc.

Unfortunately, I'm no stranger to picky little princesses. My precious Casey-cat (GA) was also hard to feed once the CKD really took hold. So I learned pretty much all the tricks for getting a kitty eating. The difference is that with Casey, I could leave dry food out and ply her with Temptations whenever she looked hungry. Sunny doesn't get that option, so that makes it harder and more frightening when she doesn't eat.
She did shock me late last night by going over to Simon's mostly-empty plate of Sheba cuts and eating up the leftover (gravy-licked-off) meat chunks! That was a real surprise, since recently she's been refusing to eat anything that isn't freshly-prepared.
Now if she would just get tired of working on her tan and head over to the pool!
