HUMP DAY! YEAH!!!! (Think Geiko commercial!)

WCR: All Ps in place. Appy isn't as good as yesterday. Her mood is very quiet and sad-like. She did shred her paper bag a little and she did jump up on the sink basin this morning. Otherwise, she's just laying there with her eyes half open.

Michelle, I think I was wondering/worried about the Potassium sups regarding her mood more than her numbers. I don't know if that makes sense. When I first started her on the sups, she was energetic and talkative and alert. It's been a little over a week since we started the K and she just doesn't look like she feels well and so I'm grasping at straws to make sense of her cattitude.

Running late this morning...stupid hair! Wishing everyone a nice Wednesday with happy, healthy kitties! Happy OTJ trials for all the cool kitties getting closer to the Falls. Healing vines to Jupiter and comfort vines to Jamie! Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Maybe she just needs to get used to the new med. I hope she feels her regular self soon.

I'm having a hair day too :-|

Poor Shasta. I hope she gets back to herself soon.
Sorry for the bad hair day  You could just do what I did and cut it all off
Have a good night Deborah

Aww it's so sad to see our kitties not feeling their best.
I hope Shasta starts feeling her best very soon.

Hi Dyana, Carla, Pam & Josie!

Shasta seems to be a little better tonight. I have NOT given her any K supplement today. Her appy has been ok, nothing great, nothing bad. She's been less "starey-eyed". When I'm not on the computer, she wants to love on me. I think she's excessively jealous of the laptop.

My back is feeling better. However, my entire back is as tight as a drum. :YMSIGH: YAY, one week into school!  Had to have "the talk" with my students today...ok, not THAT talk, but the talk about what we will do if there is ever a shooting on campus. Needless to say, there were a lot of scared and unhappy kiddos in my room, but I'd rather have the talk now versus screaming over panicking students with bullets whizzing down the hallways.

Ok, on a happier note, one of my sweet autistic students from the past 3 years was walking past my classroom today and stopped to wave at me, but I was busy answering questions and didn't see him. I noticed a few of my girls looking out the window, so I glanced that way, but whoever it was backed away from the window quickly. Finally, I saw it was him, but he took off walking so I ran to the door and hung my head out the door saying, "Hello, Patrick!" He quickly turned to me and said "HI, Ms. D!" and kept going! :-D What a sweetie!

Hope everyone is having a lovely evening!

Nice blue, Shasta! I hope your back gets better. That is sad that you have to talk to students about what to do if there's a shooting.

Awww, so sweet about Patrick :-D Glad Shasta is feeling a little better. Keep it up girl! And sorry your back is hurting. I have back issues too. Not fun
You know what they say "Plan for the worse and hope for the best" And hopefully you will never have to encounter anything bad happening in your classroom. Things have changed so much nailbite_smile Sending you and your students safe schoolyear vines!
