Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,
We have thunderstorms today--great picnic weather, but fortunately we'll have a canvas shelter over our picnic tables this afternoon at the Mt. Club annual picnic.
Rusty is certainly starting out better than yesterday, but I'd like to see him soon back to his normal numbers. This morning's shot was good (I think). Breakfast was consumed in 2 sittings (and a hope for a 3rd, but the bean did not acknowledge that "look") (I've cut down very slightly on the size of Rusty's portions so that he doesn't eat more than one 5 1/2 oz. can of Wellness Turkey in a 24-hour period; in addition to the can of Wellness, he gets a teaspoon of FF T&G at bedtime as a treat and a small snack of cubed cooked chicken in water at AMPS +9). The key to losing that extra pound safely is more exercise, and yesterday we had a really good play in the afternoon, despite the very warm weather. We are looking forward to Fall!!!
Edward is baking bread this morning (we've been so busy he hasn't baked in over a month). So we'll have really good peanut-butter sandwiches on our paddle tomorrow (the North Branch of the Salmon River--full of beaver dams and forest debris--an adventure trip).
Everyone have a good day today. We continue to send healing vines and good thoughts to all our kitties in need.
