Yesterday was kind of a bad day. Ozy's legs were pretty bad after being so good for a few days. He was pretty wobbly and he was limping. I think he may have overdone it the day before and hurt his leg, maybe with a jump. His glucose numbers also went up into the 300's and he had to have Bupe. His whole body seemed swollen and bloated yesterday and today he weighs almost 1/2 a pound less.

Well Ozy is suddenly VERY green. Fed him some medium carb food at +4.75. I don't want to freak his liver out. I hate bouncing. I think it is hard on his body.

I like greens. Spending time bouncing in green has to be better than nothing but high pinks!!

My bailey gets all swollen when he eats too much and then has a huge poo...

Tiggy gets Wobblier on his legs when his BG is high too.

Ozy is very low for him. Still under a 100 at 8.5. Should I shoot if he stays this low?

It looks like he is creeping up though. Get a +11 and ask the question then. Are you able to get a PMPS +2?

How about getting a test at +11 so we can see where Ozy's numbers are and have some time to strategize, if necessary.

He is up in the blue at +10. I will get a +11. Thanks for the help, Sienne and Deb.

As for the greens, they are great but I hope they aren't followed by screaming pinks and horrid reds. I especially worry for his liver. It must be hard on it to keep making glucose.

First, shooting advice?

Second, what canned catfood brands medium/high carbs WITHOUT grains/gluten? I carefully chose some Fancy Feast in the right carb percentage range only to realize they contain gluten and/or grains. The medium and high carbs are for hypo events. I think Ozy is allergic to gluten and grains. I think they give him asthma and breathing issues.
