Yesterday, started out flat blue, dove to 49, followed by one more nice cycle and today is the delayed bounce. :roll: Just as well, I'm in the ferry line up to visit my folks with groceries and a chocolate zucchini cake. This time I'm going to make the ferry. :oops:

Neko started in a good mood. Hungry as usual, a good purry acupressure session, then a couple hours later she started getting restless and flopped on the kitchen floor. I was pretty sure she was zooming. Poor kitty. I hope the bounce doesn't last long.

Vines for all in need, both kitties and beans. I'm off to make zucchini soup and help around the house and garden for the day.

I hope Neko clears the bounce soon. I hope you had a good visit with your parents.

I hope you had a good time at your parents', and that the zucchini soup turned out well. Sounds delish!

Neko, Rusty says you have to get back to the lagoon later because he's going up on shore for a while.

Hope you made the return ferry OK!!

DH got that test. Much more reasonable number to come home to. I made the ferry fine (it was 10 minutes late arriving to the island), but the traffic coming home was nuts. The 20 minute drive took closer to 50 minutes - good thing I got the "earlier" ferry.

@Carla, Liz, Ella - Looks like Neko slept most of the time I was gone. Now she's lobbying for an early dinner, time for me to head outside to avoid her. :lol: Visit was good. Soup was tasty and they now have enough for several lunches. Chocolate zucchini cake won't last long either. I picked some basil, pattypan squash and blackberries to come home. DM thinks that she might have cracked something on her left side as well in the fall, and it started showing up after she was using that side to support the breaks on her right side. :sad: So she's back to mostly using the walker but she's being good and trying to stay off her legs. A PT comes to the house every couple of weeks. It's so frustrating for her because this is the time of year the garden needs a lot of work. On the positive side, the right side is feeling better now. I didn't see DA today, but DM would have mentioned it if she wasn't doing well. They are both missing their weekly hair dressing appointments (my DM is the one who drives).
