Off to a blue start this morning - Hooray! 170 at amps. Looks like maybe Mannie surfed the blues last night while his bean I-) I-) I-) Wouldn't that be great! Nice to see that his bounce at yesterdays pmps didn't last long.

We are cool here this morning, overcast @ 51. makes for cuddly kitties. Mannie has dished out his fair share of cuddles and purrs. Breffis #1 and #2 eaten: no leftovers, face washing over and done with. LB done - I think... We had a brief interior security check, and have now headed of to his bed by the window perch and napping is in progress. Nice mellow start to the day. :-D

I hope everyone has a great Caturday. I am off shortly for a morning walk to the shore, followed by a stop off on the way home to the local coffee shop ~O) for some of the "good stuff". My son has another band show tonight, so I hope Mannie will be nice and steady tonight so I can go. Another evening of ear blasting rock and roll - ya gotta love it...

I hope Mannie keeps surfing in honor of your morning walk. It really sounds like you live in a beautiful area. I love the water. At least I have Lake Michigan out the front door.

138 @ +2. Looks like I will have to do a shortened version of my morning walk... I fed Mannie some 9% to hold him over until I get back. He should be fine until then - back around +4.

And thanks Lisa - we are fortunate here - mountains etc so close. Very nice places to go and hike. We don't have the high elevations, not much over 7000 feet, but the lakes etc are just very pretty, the mountain ranges are gorgeous.

Angela - you guys are doing great, and so is Blackie. it just takes time. Mannie has been such a challenge.

Sienne - me too. I am so glad the water is so close. I like to go there in the mornings, before the crowds. It's so quiet, peaceful. And lots to see, critter wise. I remember Lake Michigan - so nice!

Off to walk, see the water, find the coffee - now Mannie you surf while you bean is gone, OK?

What a great amps. Looks like Mannie is headed to a green surf. I hope he'll behave so you can go see DS tonight. I finally looked at some of your pics. Your hikes are just beautiful!

WOOT! We made green :mrgreen: :mrgreen: -- 70 @ +5. I fed him a small tsp of HC, would like to see if I can get him to surf this for a while. Think I will test again in 30 minutes to see where we are headed...

Hi Ele - thanks - they are fun. I hope Mannie will be good too - would really like to see DS do his thing. I think that DH will stay home, and I can always lay out a food plan that will keep Mannie steady. We shall see how the day goes. Paws crossed!

Nice walk this morning - scary, but there was a slight hint of fall in the air... must be the cooler temps, and some of the vine maples that are showing just a smidgen of color. fall??? - omg! so not ready....

hooray, Mannie is surfing! See Mannie, it's fun, isn't it? More fun than bungee jumping because you can surf for hours, but bungee jumping is over too quickly.

Fall, huh? It's only 87 today, I don't think it's fall here yet. It's so humid that my glasses fogged up when I went outside!

Hi Libby! It's me Mannie! You are SO RIGHT! This green stuff is really cool, and the boards are so nice... So much better than those bungee cords which were such funky colors. And the ride was so short. It was over before I knew I had been anywhere... ~~ Mannie

97 @ pmps. I fed a 8% tonight for his dinner - I do need to be gone for a while, and just don't want him going to low... we will see what his +1, and +2 are before deciding what food to feed before and up to the time I leave at +4

I would like to congratulate you on your lovely green surf today.
You did much better than Shadow, but still, he managed 2 greens himself today.
I am very happy for both of you boys.
It is in the low blues and the greens that you two will find the most healing.
It would be very nice if you could manage some more of those greens though...

Yo Mannie, surf that green!!! I wish I was surfing green with you, but I'm PINK at PMPS!!!!! But my mamabean got me some Cowboy Cookout and I had some for dinner and it was delicious (and besides, I was pink before I ate my dinner). Looks like you're going to see green all night. But don't go too low, 'cause your mamabean wants to go to a rock concert. But who needs concerts to rock? Certainly not you, man--YOU ROCK!!!

Hi Michelle, Enjoy your son's concert and don't worry about Mannie. He'll be fine (as always). P.s. I looked at the Snowqualmie pictures you took. They are wonderful! What beautiful country!! Tomorrow I'll have time to view some of your other trips. I had to smile when you said that the peaks where you are are "only" 7000 feet. Here in the Adirondacks the 46 High Peaks are those that are over 4000. Mt. Marcy is the highest, at 5344.

168 @ +1.... perhaps the MC did that? :lol: oh well, perhaps just as well - if only because I do need to be gone, do the mom thing, and see the kid play. what a nice pmps! :-D Ought to be an interesting next couple of hours. switched to 6% at +1. and I hope it isn't overkill....

Hi Ella - too funny/interesting on the peak heights. The north cascades are in the 7000/8000, as well as the enchantments in central washington- they are absolutely primo. No clue how high Mt rainier is - not something I would ever scale anyways. I read on hikes where people in other states are hiking at the 10000 foot level :shock: I can't imagine.... I'm glad you liked the photos. I never go anywhere without my camera, and take way too many photos. at least when I am old and fuddly I can remember (haha: maybe) what these places were like.
