Well unfortunately without my DH knowing Buddy got shut in the closet with the dry food. After running around frantically looking for him, nailbite_smile DH says "I wonder if he got into the closet" when I was in there!!! ohmygod_smile So go in there and opened door and there the fat boy was, had torn a hole in new bag of food and was eating to his heart content. So I figured he ate at least a large handful, if not more. YIKES!!! :shock: So after Thurs big low"s, he is now fighting the highs from his little feast of dry. I swear I never gave birth to any children, but I sometimes think I have a little baby I have to watch all the time!!! :lol: So now I feel like were back at the beginning of the high numbers. Very frustrating, but he will come back down in time. You can bet DH now knows he better check for 4 legged baby's after every door is opened or closed!! :lol: cat(2)_steam

I'm sorry Jan....I am laughing so much at the picture of Buddy in the closet....
Was he singing "Dad is GREAT, he gives us chocolate cake" like that old Bill Cosby skit???
Locked IN the closet WITH the bag of forbidden food. And Buddy KNEW what was IN that bag and made his way into it....feast!!! YUM!! Heaven, I'm in heaven!!!
Well, at least there is a reason for his atrocious Reds....my sympathies to you Jan...
but it was a very funny story!! :lol:

Yes he loves when DH doesn't pay attention. Now that I think back it was funny, he was laying down semi on top of bag with his head as far in the hole he could get. :lol: When I picked him up to take him away he was just licking his lips to get the very last drop!

sorry it has to be at yours and buddy's expense....but I got a much needed good laugh from reading this! :lol:

Glad he is coming down for you (and maybe for DH's sake, too!)

I now have this image in my mind of you running around the house looking for Buddy, while he's in the dry food bag trying to get as much as he can before you find him. :lol:

I hope he has a good PM cycle once this clears. It will be interesting to see how the 0.75 reduction holds up, that's a pretty bold move.

After reading your post, I went back and looked at SS and saw that that couldn't have been right, I now don't remember what I did for sure but I do know that I didn't jump from 3.75 to 3.0. I remember measuring 3.5, but can't seem to remember 3.25. Boy it is really "hell" losing the memory ohmygod_smile . He is doing good even with the screw up on dose and the dry. The way you had the dry food episode in your mind was exactly how it happened, I was running around the house in a total panic thinking he might have gotten outside, and he is in laying on that damn dry food bag! :lol: :lol: It was for sure funny after I got over the eating part!!

Jan, I can sooooo relate to messing up the dose. When Lucy was going down the dosing scale so fast, each night I had to leave a note in the refrigerator on top of the cartridge so I would remember what to shoot in the morning. :lol: No, I'm not kidding. Buddy is doing REALLY well, you must be so happy.

Libby: Yes I'm very happy. Never thought he would be this low in his dose. I just pray that it holds! Thx

Sienne: Now you don't really think that I yelled more at my baby..........Buddy do you! :lol: Let me just say, I would be very surprised if DH will let him get closed up in the closet again!!
