Yep - she started shots again today - .5 given
Everything went smoothly - she still loves those Purebites sooo much!

Seems fine in herself so hoping the shot works its magic.

Remember to give the insulin a chance to get the depot built up. I agree on the freeze dried chicken. My guys line up for treats every morning. It's pretty funny!!

It's nice to meet you and Honey, but sorry it has to be because she's needing insulin. Hopefully, it's a short stay and you're back at The Falls in a heartbeat! She sure is a beautiful cat!! All three are beautiful! I can understand your neighbors being confused. :lol:

Sorry to see you have to be back here. I hope it was just the dry food while you were away and Honey isn't away from the Falls for long.

Hi Denise! Sorry you're back, but always happy to meet someone new who's going through this adventure (even for a 2nd time). Hopefully Honey will return to the Falls soon!

I just adore orange tabby cats! This has been the longest time since I was 7 that I haven't had one and I really miss it. Something about them orange kitties just has a special place in my heart

Wishing you and Honey the best, and a short visit here in Lantus Land :-D

I'd forgotten just how nice and supportive this site is - almost(???) glad to be back ;-)

Yup - forgot about the depot.
Rushed back to test from kids 1st day back at school - really in a panic as it was +3.5 and I wanted to test at +2 and then....292.
Then I remembered the depot :oops:

Hoping to catch up on condos later today and visit new friends since our last visit.

Mary - so happy to see Ollie on his OTJ trial :mrgreen:
Pam - I think you started here just before us so hoping we can both go OTJ again asap!
Ann - thanks for the words of encouragement - fingers crossed that this is a blip!
Chris - We had 3 litters of ferals in our backyard one summer - 8 of 12 were orange! We got the females fixed and the kittens adopted save the 3 we kept. I'd never had orange tabbies - now I sometimes have a sea of orange on the floor :-D
Sienne - Thanks for jumping in with advice straight away - its like old times :lol:
 
Well Honey's +6 was a bit of a surprise - I didn't expect that after 2 shots :?
Could be unrelated?
Still going to give .5 in am unless I hear different.
