Goose was doing better with numbers in blue on 8/19.
The morning of 8/20 came with pink numbers and very low appetite. We thought that it was yet another flare of pancreatitis and offered him all the support meds - for pain, nausea, diarrhea and appetite. They helped marginally.
This morning (8/21) - he had some energy around AMPS, but still poor appetite. He spent the day, very unhappily, at the vet and got some tests done. Liver, kidney looked okay, no signs of dental pain either. We're awaiting the full blood and urine test results but the vet saw bacteria in urine cultures. They have treated him with antibiotic.
His BG is still high, and we know that his diabetes and pancreatitis are a bad feedback loop. Adding UTI to the mix, and he's spending the rest of the day hiding and sleeping.
I am hoping that his appetite and energy levels improves. Poor kitty has had a rough few days. I'd appreciate if someone has been in the same scenario or has some advice/words of encouragement to offer!
