Hey friends, I've been a lurker lately... life has been challenging on many fronts so I haven't felt up to posting.

But! Some news in Figaro's world, we've switched to a human meter, so his numbers are a bit easier for me to interpret. And they look better, of course. But they are also slowly getting better. I hope we see some green at this dose but if I don't tonight it tomorrow, up we will go.

Fig's first ever dental is scheduled for the second Friday in September (actually the 13th, but I'm not superstitious). The vet doesn't expect anything beyond a cleaning but of course we won't know til she takes the x-rays.

He has been playing lots, and doing some lovely things like laying at my feet and racing to lead me from room to room, which is :joyful: so cute and classic Figaro.

Today I bought a parking pass for the garage across from my office. It's not cheap, but worth being able to zip home to check on Fig and grab a mid-cycle test.
 
Love the Fig report! Sounds like he is feeling good. :) Cats are so much more than their numbers, but I like that he’s limiting his colour scheme now. :cool:
 
It’s such a relief when our sugar kitties start getting back to their old selves! Im happy for you that you’re noticing an improvement for Fig :joyful:

The human meter is a good idea! You’ll save a bundle on strips :D

Funny enough, I expect the relion strips will be more expensive for me because I (very fortunately) decided to get pet insurance last year, and they have been reimbursing me for the AT strips :eek: which has been amazing. Even so, I like the human meter better, I'm more confident with it as his numbers are coming down :)

Figaro is so close to looking all blue with more greens too:cool::D

Thanks so much Jan!! I am trying to visualize that blue and green SS.... :D even though it seems he might be having a bit of a bounce right now!
