OK, I give up...I really don't know what's going on with China's numbers but I'm NOT liking it at all!

I guess I can chalk today's up to NDW, but that doesn't explain the 189 this morning....or the 194 last night either!!

China honey....tell mama what's going on....please!!

I want my little green cat back:arghh:

China just hopped up here and her rear end was really messy with loose stool, so I got some paper towels to help clean her up

When I was cleaning, I noticed some red on the white paper towels that looks like blood....I am freaking out here!!

Did you check the poo if there is blood in it?

It was really loose, so it was hard to tell what might have been actually "in" the poo

She ate her dinner pretty normally and is acting OK but I'm still a little freaked out.....having a very loose stool like that all over her rear end plus finding blood isn't normal for her

Chris I'm sorry about the blood, I'd be freaking out too. Unless I google it which you probably have I have no insight. Her numbers are out of the ordinary. China is the poster green kitty. Guess I'm not helping but sending lots of vines and prayers to your girl.

What is the color of poo?

Darker than usual....and it's very unusual for her to have loose stools at all....since she's been on mostly raw, her stools have been lighter colored and a lot "drier" than they were when she was eating the evil kibble

I'm going to be keeping a close eye on her.....the vet is over an hour away and it's Sunday or we'd already be there (although after paying for one of the civvies vet visit last week, I really don't know how I'd pay for it)

If things aren't much improved by morning, I'll have to figure it out though...I'm not going to take chances with her health

I HATE being poor!!

Oh I am so sorry China is giving you cause for extra worry...:(:(:( Too much time spent in the water rescuing other wayward kitties?
Sending perfect poo and cool water surf vines to you..:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:...( anywhere else that could be interpreted in a totally different way!) hoping the next poop eliminates your concerns:bighug::bighug::bighug:
We're waiting for China by cooler waters....

One of my kitties was slightly constipated. Once she finally pooped there was some runny soft poo and a bit of red blood. It was a bit of bleeding from the exertion and was fine the next time round.Hopefully this is what has happened with China.

(((Chris))), I would wait a day and see how China is tomorrow. Has she eaten anything unusual? We are sending our best vines for Deputy China.
Hugs and scritches,
Ella & Rusty

Yo Deputy China, rest tonight and feel better tomorrow. The kitties in the lagoon will be OK.

From your lips to God's ears.....or China's intestinal tract!

Has she eaten anything unusual?

Nope....she still just gets 2 of the frozen chicken medallions per day and about 2/3rd of a can of Fancy Feast with extra water mixed in...same thing she's been eating for weeks now on her diet

In better news, she's down 4.6 ounces this week...but now I worry if it's because of the diet she's on or if it's because there's something else going on :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

I know exactly how you feel. We get so addicted to those lovely greens...

It's hard not to imagine the worst with every little thing that is off, but try not to panic (said the pot to the kettle). Sasha used to have a bit of blood on her stools occasionally, and they never found anything wrong. I agree with what Rhiannon said about red being an external thing. Do you have some Forti Flora to give her for the runny stool?

Sending good poo vines for China and calming vines and :bighug:s for you.

Squallie also has the occasional loose stool with a smear of blood in it. None of the vets ever found anything wrong with him; one time I actually took the poo with the blood to the vets and they said it was okay, probably from mild straining and definitely external.

Sending loads of vines for China, and hugs for Mama Bean. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Sending tons of healing and feeling better vines for sweet China. Will she let you look at her anal sacks to see if they are OK? I had one kitty that had a little blood on poo when her anal sack was swollen and irritating her.

Not without adding a lot more blood to the mix....my own!!

I've been trying to think of a way I can clean her up better.....with her weight, she's not very good at getting that area herself and it would be easier to monitor if it was clean to start with....but she's never had a bath and I'm hesitant to start now...especially since I'd be trying to do it alone

Do you have a shower with a removable shower head? Sort of a kitty bidet? You might need to wrap the upper part in a towel. Or get a wet warm towel or hand cloth and hold it back there. And I hear you about the "no-go" zone back there. I dread cleaning missy long pants. I sometimes pick Neko up on rest her on my arm and sneak a short cleaning session in. No way I can do it all at once.
