Very busy, i take care of a condo building, I walked 9649 steps yesterday vs 20 at my other job, gonna take some days to get used to it but it has benefits I keep telling myself, also as time goes it will get easier for me, it’s basically custodial work :(but not in the people’s condos, like vacuuming, making sure washer and dryers are clean, sweeping, empty trash, but hey, my mental status was on the line, I was getting so depressed, not around hardly any people never went outside except to car and back, I had to change for my sanity and I get pd the same, raise in 60 days, and lots of holiday pay, vaca, personal and sick days, taxes taken, my other job I had to pay in at the end of yr that was terrible and stressful and it has a beautiful scenery
Only super bad thing is there’s 12 floors!

If you have an I-Phone you can always use your HotSpot for brief internet connections (lots of data usage there)...but ok for quick uses.

Sounds like a very 'active' job...12 floors...whew! You'll be in great shape if you're running up and down stairs.

Hope Bella has a good day and stays away from Andy in his new jammies...Hope Abby is feeling better too!
 
I hope Bella slides down and surfs for you today. Once you get used to your new job, you won't even think about it and you'll be in great shape.

Thanks! Well there are elevators but the halls are very long, and sweat omg! I drank 6 bottles of water, 2 bottles of ices tea and only peed 2x, TMI lol lol

Considering it's probably hot as 'you know what' there this time of year, I'm not surprised! Love your new avatar!!! Great pic of Bella boy!! :) Best to you on 'day 2'...try to stay cool...the weather will break soon...what in about two months? We're already starting to get those 'fall like' mornings...you can feel it in the air...it'll be on the way to you soon...and so will we (snowbirds are flocking up already) :) :)

This job sounds a lot better than what you were doing! Vacation & benefits YAY!! Before you know it you'll be in Better shape & enjoying the new job :)
 
I'm so glad you got through that first day, Jamie. I was thinking about you. Soon, it will be much easier, and as you said, it's good for your well being, physical and mental! A very good change in your life. :bighug:

We're doing better today, air quality was hazardous yesterday but it's just unhealthy for sensitive groups today. Which, of course, includes DH. He masks up to go out to his respiratory classes and appointments. Yesterday it was so bad the Pulmonary therapy classes were cancelled. It looked like fog down to the ground, it was eerie looking. Too many fires all around, all directions. Like Tracey and Kris, I hope for rain to quell these fires. It seems to get worse every year. I wonder that there is much left to burn.
Idjit was real mad at me yesterday because I wouldn't let him out. But he likes me again today, and he got a raw gizzard, so cat life is good.

Bella looks like he's on the verge of a swim!:cool: Hope you had a good day 2 today! Luci was chasing the darn sharks and I wasn't paying attention to see if she ate her HC:(...dropped below 40 now she's getting a reducie:rolleyes:...although I'm not sure about this one - so soon after her reduction to 1.25 only a few days ago...I'm going to watching her closely to see if she goes back to the lagoon soon...she's such a little trickster...can't tell what's she's going to do next.:facepalm:

Hope Bella will be safe tonight! :D Rest up for another big day tomorrow :)

I think so too, glad DH is off next 2 days but if I know Bella, he will wait till Friday when no one is here:nailbiting:, boy u sure can’t tell what miss Luci goose is gonna do can you, I don’t think I could ever go to work :eek:

Good thing I work from home...or Luci would be here all day with DH..he doesn't think it's necessary to test as often as I do...she'd be in trouble...:facepalm:
