Wasn't she dewormed? I thought you had...

Not sure if u have seen what has been happening Bhooma. Im fostering 2 that came from my Aunt's house. And they were both completely and totally messed up.
I applied the topical dewormer on the night of 8/18....just now working i guess.
I think August may have to go the oral route if I dont see anything come out of him.

Hi Ash, yes I have been following and it's really wonderful all you've been doing for them!
I thought I remembered reading that you had dewormed them. I think you might need to give them an oral deworming tablet. I believe the topical/spot-on does not work for tapeworms.

Elanco Tapeworm Dewormer (praziquantel tablets) for Cats and Kittens 6 Weeks and Older, 3-count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019CD4ZDS/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20

This one works great!

LM and maddie got them several years ago. They shouldnt be vomiting them up more like pooping it all out.

Keep an eye on her if she vomited. Might mean theyve gotten super bad.

Oh god that's gross poor kitties,I hope you get the oral dewomer that Rainbow suggested
I would ask your vet to see if they have any other type of worms
I know there are hookworms also

They both go Selarid which is i think is supposed to work on all but tape.

If you are giving Selarid and you said she threw up a tapeworm then it's not going to work for tapeworms right? What will you give for tapeworms then?

I was reading this
Does Selarid kill worms in cats?
Selarid is a prescription topical heartworm preventive. Selarid also prevents and controls flea infestations. In cats, Selarid also treats and controls ear mites, roundworms, and hookworms. In dogs, Selarid also treats and controls ear mites, sarcoptic mange, and Dermacentor variabilis tick infestations.

I once pulled a worm out of a foster kitten’s butt while his sibling was puking another one (not sure which kind they were), and I thought it couldn’t get any grosser, but your monster tapeworm takes the cake

I have always used Drontal for deworming, I believe it kills tapeworm, hookworms and roundworms.
