Re: 8.20 Trouble AMPS 103

Beautiful numbers for Trouble.....hope you have a good day...do you have new shoes for the first day of school too?
My DD teaches 3rd grade...starting on Tuesday....so much to do ....she loves getting the classroom all ready for the kiddies....
Hope you have a wonderful and productive school year...why do the summers rush by?

Re: 8.20 Trouble AMPS 103

When you say he's out in the garden, I picture Trouble pulling weeds, picking veggies and mumbling about critters who are nibbling them, occasionally picking up a hoe and doing whatever you do with them (can you tell I'm not a gardener?)...he sounds like a hard-working guy!

Very nice AMPS today! Have fun getting your classroom ready. Lucky you, having a satisfying bell to hear on Fridays! :-D

Re: 8.20 Trouble AMPS 103

What grade do you teach Carrie? My mother taught 1st & 3rd grade for 40 years. When I used to take her to the doctor's & other places we would often run into her former students. One of them told us that the reason she could read was because of my mother. Teachers are very special and they should get paid more. :YMHUG:

I wish he knew how to pull weeds, Janice. Instead, he just lurks around the tomatoes and potatoes like a jungle cat hunting grasshoppers. He tries to hunt birds, but isn't quite sneaky enough...they always see his huge uncoordinated body coming (not to mention he is usually meowing which blows his cover). He only mumbles or rather hisses when I make him come inside.

I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade resource English. Kids that age are so much fun...with all the drama there is never a dull moment! Love to teach it...would never want to relive it!

LOL that he sometimes meows while hunting! Lucky for the birds. I remember the grasshopper hunting conversation now. He seems to be good!
