Tipper remains about the same. She will eat on her own if I bring the food dish to her. Still on the pepcid and probiotics. I am testing for ketones at least once a day.

DH picked up the B12 at vets today. The dose is 1/2 ml subcutaneously once a week. Using insulin needles what exactly is a 1/2 ml on the syringe??

Thanks

1/2ml is 50U on a U-100 syringe.

Most people use 3/10ml syringes (30u), so you will either need bigger syringes, or 2 shots.

I'd get some regular 25g syringes from the vet. They should have given them to you. It would be a big pain to shoot that with an insulin syringe.
