Yawn...stretch...yawn...rub eyes...Good Morning? Already? ~O) ~O)

WCR: All Ps in place. Someone was hungry this morning!!!! CPC! :-D Got a few purrs and a little play already this morning. She's sitting on the footstool right next to me waiting for me to get her more fuds. Wish she always had this appy.

I didn't finish grading papers last night, so I'm going to try to grade some now. Oh, and maybe I shouldn't have tried cleaning the barn - feed room last night. My back isn't the happy with me, but I just couldn't leave it the way it was...a massive pile of grain on the ground for those damn rats to feast upon. grr_red I'll post a picture later.

Wishing everyone a terrific Tuesday! Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Re: 8/20 Shasta PMPS=274 +2.5=298

Good evening Dyana, Devon & Carla ~

Shasta's appy was voracious this evening...same as this morning. And while this excites me, her numbers don't excite me and her weird mood is...well, weird. She looks so ho-hum right now. She's just laying on her pillow, staring off into space. We did just play and she was animated, but never left her bed. I can't tell why the  cattitude. Could it be the Potassium supplement? I think every day, we should get 10 minutes of complete and total understanding with our pets. Either they speak our language or we can understand their language. That seems fair. Right?!

Re: 8/20 Shasta PMPS=274 +2.5=298

Love the happy appy! Could the numbers be a bit of a bounce? Healing vines for your back. Gardening in Flagstaff is a lot different than Florida. I imagine you could decide just about any time of the year that you wanted to plant something, and you could go put it in the ground and it would grow. Our growing season is only about 90 days between last and first freeze and the soil is poor and it's windy. You have to be really motivated and handle loss well.  Have a great evening!

Re: 8/20 Shasta PMPS=274 +2.5=298 +4=250

ummm...I see your point, Liz. :-D I have been known to kill ivy, orchids and an occasional mum. (<- not of the human type "mum"!) But all of that was back in my early teacher phase where I never watered anything!  Now, I have successfully kept alive: succulents, 2 orchids, 7 hydrangeas (which don't love central FL sunshine!) & 3 hibiscus (there is a 4th, but it was already a "charlie brown" type of plant!) OH...and a nightly blooming jasmine. :-D

As for Shasta's numbers, I would love to think it was a bounce, but her numbers this morning were high and yesterday's numbers weren't smashing, either. I'm worried about the Potassium sups. Within the next few days, I'm picking up a new Lantus pen and maybe that will fix the numbers. I'm just a ball of stress over this little cat of mine. I need a clone of myself.

This year is scaring me and it's only the first week. Adding a class and losing a planning period is killing me. There's not enough time to do anything at work. :-x Revision to my previous statement, I need several clones of me. @-)

Hi Deborah :-D

things sound busy there.... hope all is going well with school stuff etc.

It's good to see Shasta has found the blues again. YAY! I was curious why you were worried about the potassium supplements? As far as I know I don't think it will affect BG. Unless it is the gel formula, as it does contain glycerine. With Mannie, when we used that form, we did have a slight increase. The pill form however did not. Don't know if that helps you or not...

Take care. I hope your day tomorrow will be good.
