Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,

Our hearts go out to Jennifer, whose Saima is at the Bridge. Fly free, Saima.

It looks like Rusty is taking his time coming down from the second fur shot. I didn't think he'd be this high this morning and hope he'll come down today. So we had our test, a good shot (I'm sure it was good), breakfast in 2 sittings, and now chillaxing. In a little while, after the sun gets higher, we'll go outside for a look around. Maybe he'll chase a few bugs today and get some exercise.

The usual Saturday activities are planned for today: farmers' market this morning; a bike ride this afternoon. This weekend is a "plein air" festival in our village and there are artists here from all over the country, painting their outdoor paintings. All the paintings have to be the same size (quite small, about 9"x9") and will be judged on Sunday.

Tomorrow afternoon our chapter of the Adirondack Mt. Club will have it's annual picnic at the Adirondack Loj in the High Peaks. Last night I made a batch of cranberry/walnut/chocolate-chip cookies to take. It will probably rain (it always rains at these picnics!).

I want to live in your little village!! It always sounds like there is lots of fun stuff happening. Yum on the sweets! Have a great day and not too bad for Rusty today.

Sorry about the fur shots, but it looks like Rusty is coming down nice and slow. Sounds like a nice Saturday and fun day tomorrow, too. Those cookies do sound yummy. Enjoy the day.

Hi Everyone again,

Rusty has had a good day and is coming back down from his AMPS. We spent quite a bit of time outdoors, had a good combing session, and had an excellent play session (with the Cat Charmer, the Kong Kickaroo, Red Ears, and the busy box! (Rusty kept on playing even after we thought he had stopped. Good kitty!).

We hope that everyone will have a fine evening. Back later. We're going to watch The Godfather, Part III.

p.s. to Tobey: yes, Mr. Tobey, you are adorable and I can't wait to see your picture (I'm headed there right now). You can come visit us whenever you want. We love to see you.

sorry to be so late in visiting... home late from the hike, busy with photos, and Mannie and where does the time go....

Wow - maybe Rusty wanted to come and visit Mannie today on the higher floors... I am glad that Rusty aborted his attempts. :lol: :lol:

The plein air sounds nice - do you get many artists? I bet it would be fun to go and watch them work.

YAY on Rusty and all that play - He really needs to come and give Mannie a lesson on playing... he just has no clue. :lol: :lol:
