Sigh. Rupert in full bounce mode again so it seems. I keep waiting for that trampoline to wear out.

He wasn't waiting for me this morning, he was over the lane hunting bunnies and came sauntering in about 10 mins late. Wasn't super hungry this morning but seems BEBT as usual.

off to work today for me. bleah.

Hi Pip......nothing I say will make you feel better about the nasty red floor, but hopefully that number will be a distant memory.
I'm glad he feels good, even when you and the aunties, don't like the numbers.

Grrrr, well this is just a nasty flat red day, he hasn't had one like this in AGES. should I assume that its not enough insulin? or still a big bounce from not THAT bad a drop (by Rupie standards)? Anyone want to take a peek at the spreadsheet and give me some thoughts?

I`m sorry for your Reds, Pip!! And, I'm sorry I missed the gravity of them until right now (spending 36 hours in black made red look downright reasonable to me this morning!). I can`t opine on your SS since I am too new, but I will be watching to see what someone who knows has to say - right along with you. Whatever the reason, it will be over soon and we can celebrate, so hang in there!! party_cat Alexa & Reuben

Tigger it is! happy to see him out of the red. annoyed cat(2)_steam as usual, to see him do so in such spectacular fashion (over 100pts an hour.. really dude?). He of course is smug and fine and happy so I guess I shouldn't stress. Would like to get him leveled out by this weekend, even if it's only on the yellow floor. I'm not sure what dose to reduce him to for the August 31/Sept 1 trip we are taking to another horse show.... would be nice to know which dose is too much and which is just right so I can take it down a hair below that and keep him safe. In September we will be gone for EIGHT days (!) so I really would like to have a plan by then.

Rupert surf down into the green, Rosy's meeting you there. Maybe you two can meet mid-way in the blue floor?
Pip, I've been trying to find the "right" dose for Rosy since I'll be leaving on Friday. But today she is giving me the indication for reducie, so guess you have to to take your time to wait for Rupie's instruction for the dose.
We always want to know well beforehand so as to get more preparation, but may not be the case with our kitty taking the lead in this confusing sugar dancing!

you are so right!

least he's slowed down a little and is on the blue floor. that's a nice place to be and with the dive slowing down that makes me happier. maybe he'll surf the blue and not bounce too too high. HA HA, I'm SO funny, like that has EVER happened....yet! but.. hey, tomorrow is another day!

It looks like Rupert was saving the drama for the evening. I wonder how much lower he'll go. And what his response will be to the fast drop.

Any chance he gets into bad kibble at the neighbours? I've heard of people who leave out dry cat food for raccoons.
 
I've wondered about him getting into something, but he doesn't stray from the property, and tends to eat bunnies when he does go out foraging! Looks like he's levelling out at blue for tonight.. hopefully he'll stay there for a while before heading up. tomorrow's AMPS will tell the tale!
