Yep, there's the bounce, but it was nice to see Michael in blues last night. I love his avatar. He is a handsome kitty!

Re: 8/20 Michael AMPS 326

Hi Ann,
Thanks for letting me know it was a bounce. I was hoping it was a food spike, since I left a little kibble(1/8 of a cup) for him to nibble on during the night in case he went to low. This is extremely hard for me to figure out! I wish I could just feed him his low carb food and not worry about it.
Michael thanks you for the compliment. He thinks he is very handsome(as do I) and he knows it. I love him very much.

Re: 8/20 Michael AMPS 326

Good morning Paula and Michael, I figured Michael would bounce this morning as did charlie. Just remember it takes up to 72hrs (6 cycles) for the bounce to clear. Charlie tends to take any where from 2 to 3 cycles to clear.

Re: 8/20 Michael AMPS 326

Thanks, Darin
I was hoping it wasn't a bounce but a food spike. I'm going to test in a little bit. Maybe his bg will be better.I guess Michael wanted to play bouncy ball with Charlie. If they keep bouncing, and you have to start over when the bounce clears, how on earth do they ever become regulated? Very confusing.

Re: 8/20 Michael AMPS 326

Yeah the bounces can be frustrating, especially when you give the insulin and don't see any real movement in numbers. I just keep in my head that the bounces are part of the process for charlie. For me his bounces allow me to get caught up on sleep. Like this morning it was not till his +2 did his bounce truly show itself. I feed him at ps, +2, and +5, so it was nice that he was bouncing this morning, cause after +2 went back to sleep till +5 tested/fed and back to sleep till his +7.
