Yesterday was..... OMG (!!) day, and GREEN day in MannieLand. WOOT on the green part. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: The OMG part was due to appy issues that presented itself in full force by +2/3. He simply did not want to eat, so we spent most of the low numbers offering all sorts of things, looking for one he wanted, and was high enough in carbs to keep him out of the 40's. Friskies won "good fuds" the battle. Overall it really was a great day for Mannie - nice solid greens and blues. In true Mannie form he dove to get there, bounced out of it when he was done. Never a dull moment, always unpredictable ones, with the Nanner King. Lubs ya big guy!, but maybe alot less drama next time, 'K? cat_pet_icon

ALl is well in MannieLand, once again. :-D :-D I rally think that his appy issues, and semi-liquid poo issues, yesterday were due to the shots/vaccinations that he received on Saturday. He seems fine otherwise, just didn't want to eat. Normal for him when the poo isn't as it usually is. The only good thing about the poo deal was that I got a sample (YAY!!!) for the vet's lab so we can retest to see if we have removed/annihilated the Giardia that affected him last month. Paws crossed on that one. :-D :-D :-D Other than that.... things are indeed well in MannieLand. Our weather has for sure cooled, with the morning marine layer returning. We finally got sun mid day yesterday. Mannie was happy to be able to go out on the deck and soak up a few rays. :cool: Nanners were his best friend during his appy episodes. They sure did get a workout: lots of cuddles, and paws wrapped around as many as he could. That was kinda cute. This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, (again!) :shock: Elsa still thinks it has her name on it (as always)... so I am still running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. Today is auto shop day, for some scheduled maintenance on the car. oh what fun..... not. I hope to be able to walk a park that is nearby while they work on my car. Paws crossed!

Hey everybody!! What's up! I think maybe we should go sailing today! Anybody wanna go? We could pack a picnic too. And !! I think we should go to Tess's and spend some time there too. Her bean is away, and I bet she misses her. I think maybe we could get her papa bean to give us rides on his bike! Cool huh! You guys in? Let me know, I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

Nice on the greens! I agree...I'm willing to bet the appy/poo issues were a reaction to the vaccines. I hope he's feeling better now, and fingers and paws crossed that the sample comes back "clean"!!!

Nice greens for Mannie yesterday! yay! That stinks that there were appy issues on a green dive day though. Sweet on the nanners getting their loving in. Now Mannie, make this a short bounce, even though that isn't too bad for a bounce. Good luck at the mechanics. Never any fun but needed. Have a great day Michelle!

Hi guys .. what an awesome, truly awesome day for mannie yesterday! We just love seeing him in green! Now he just needs to control this little bounce and keep it down low .. Nice to hear your weather has cooled off, we are hearing ours is going to warm up again at the end of the week .. boo, when is winter coming :lol: have a great day guys!

Morning Michelle, and thanks on the ~O) ~O) I really need it. I should have been ab confused_cat le to sleep an hour later, but Mags is on the old clock! :sad: I guess I missed some excitement yesterday in Mannie's condo looking at his numbers. Sorry he had liquipoo and poor appy. Mags had poor appy, too. Yes, I bet, too vaccinations played a part with the appy. Oh yikes, car repairs today, huh! I do need to do that soon myself! Hope you can get in a shore walk later.

Mannie, good idea to visit our friend, Tess. I think we can borrow her Daddy's bike for sure. Maybe we can even do some grillin there, too, just make ourselves right at home, see ya at the curb, mags

Hi Amy - Thanks - an awesome day yesterday. :-D Crazy, but awesome! Yupp, I am inclined to think so on the appy cause. Things are back to normal today, appy wise. And a BUG YES on the sample coming back clean. PAWS CROSSED!!

Hi Melissa - thanks - sure were alot of very nice greens, and you are so right on the comment about appy issues on a dive day. That part was not fun, and just a tad stressful.... :? but we survived, and he's feeling darn good this morning, YAY! and I so hope onthis being a short bounce - he was so flat last night that I am hopeful for today. we shall see I guess. And thanks on the car - one of those full service appt days (like 4/5 hours), so I'm glad in a way that Mannie is up so I won't have to worry about him, and will have some time to walk the local park/trails by the dealership. WOO HOO!

Hi Devon - thanks - I thought it was too! Me too on the greens - we seem to e seeing a little bit more of them lately, which is really nice. :cool: LOL on the "when is winter coming" - funny: I was thinking the same thing yesterday, as I am starting to see leaves changing color, some are falling... I'm not done with summer yet. :roll:

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) - oh bummer on mags and the old clock. That used to drive me nuts when BJ was still with us. She took forever to adjust to clock changes... :? and yes on Mannie yesterday and all that drama! I do think is was vaccination related - today he is back to being Mannie, appy an all. yupp on the car stuff. oh well, one of those necessary evils... I hope so on the shore walk - I may just end up walking the parks by the dealership, if they confirm that this will take the half day that I was told when I made the appt.

VERY nice recovery there Mannie. Perhaps you could give Neko some lessons on how to clear bounces so quickly. Isn't dental day coming up?

I hope your car maintenance went smoothly. I always like to hear when they found nothing of interest!

Hi Wendy - thanks! This was a surprise. I really did expect more yellow. Hmmmmm..... Awesome job ob the bounce clearing - maybe he has this figured out, finally, in which case he's love to come and show Neko. :cool: :-D :-D YUPP: dental day is tomorrow.... nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile Been though alot of them, but they still freak me out. too many "what ifs".... The car thing went ok - they did tell me my rear brakes were on their last legs, so had to do those in addition to the regular stuff. I drive alot, what with DGS and all, so not too unexpected. I knew they were getting close the last time I took it in. :roll:

Hi Leslie - Me too on the come back down for Mannie. That was nice to see - oftne he will take a few days to do that. One just never knows what ti will be with him....

Hi Libby - Me too on all of that. The appy ting was not fun at all. never is when numbers are diving. :shock: :shock: But we got him through it, and things are god today. YAY!!! Now just to survive his dental tomorrow. :-D :-D I so agree on the Giardia thing - paws crossed on that one!!

Hi Ann - What a nice recovery - isn't it? and yes on the car. The bulk of the appt was for a routine maintenance, one of the bigger scheduled ones, therefore the long time there. They also told me I needed new rear brakes, so had that done. Might as well while they had the car. So - nothing major. HOORAY!!!! :-D

Hi Carla - It is - and I am very ahppy to see it :-D And a big yes on the appy - very very happy about that. :cool: Ho does love his nanners - they are like a security blanket for him sometimes.

That was quite a day yesterday, Mannie! And a nice bounce and good recovery from the bounce today. I'm pretty sure Mannie's appetite and poo issues were owing to the shots. How can shots like that not affect a kitty's body balance? Back on track now, Mannie. And NO GIARDIA! OK?

Brakes are important, Michelle, so it's good you got them taken care of before the really wet weather sets in. At least you got in a walk on your auto-shop day.

Thanks for visiting us. Rusty is keen to go bicycling. He'll be over soon. He's been busy being a perfect host!!

HI Ella - oh yes on yesterday - a double whammie! I agree - I am certain that the shots caused the appy issue. I agree with you - its has to wreck havoc wit their system. and a TRIPLE PAWS CROSSED on the no Giardia! Dropped the sample off today, so hopefully I will hear soon. Oh yes on the brakes - I could not tell that they were bad... so good they told me up front, and all is well now. :-D :-D It was ncie to be able to have enough time to walk while they worked on the car. Sure more enjoyable than waiting in the customer lounge area. Rusty: good job on hositng!! very nice! Mannie is so stoked about the cycling - so hurry on over. :-D

Hi Anne - it was - the recovery. he seems determined to head on up avian though. Maybe that is better, what with the dental tomorrow. I sure don't need him with low numbers, partial dose to do, and not be able to feed... I hate dentals - way to stressful! Hmmmmmmm on the fuds drama - could be! Sure was alot of texting going on yesterday - something about more drama tips. :lol: :lol:
