8/20 FLUFFY AMPS - 587|+5 - 334|PMPS - 298|+2 - 388| +7 - 144|

I’m just waking up and saw this. A decrease was earned. The high number is due to bouncing from the 89.

Why does the bouncing occur?? What is happening?

BOUNCE: When a cat’s BG numbers drop into a low range, drop fast, or drop into a range the cat is no longer used to, the liver and pancreas may respond by releasing a stored form of glucose along with counterregulatory hormones. This causes numbers to spike back upward. It can take up to 3 days/6 cycles for a bounce to clear.

How am I supposed to get him regulated if he keeps bouncing?

I found, with Kitty, the best thing to do was to be patient and consistent with dosing. You just have to wait out the bounces and let them clear. Once her body starts getting used to the lower numbers there should be less frequent/intense bouncing.
