Good Morning World! Welcome to our home. Last Numbers Condo
This is a hard post to do this morning....it's missing our BIG boy's name and numbers. I've been putting it off for 3 days just 'cos I didn't want to have a 'single' condo. KT's Crossing Post - THANK YOU ALL for all the hugs and prayers, I read and reread them...I'm SO thankful for each one of you that share our grief. It's still awfully 'quiet' altho' KT wasn't noisy, his presence was just BIG.
DAKOTA
AMPS 427
Our sweet Dakota is still VERY upset - he's cried the last 2 nights walking thru the house calling KT. He's had to look everywhere, even places that he knows KT has never been. We're seeing better overall numbers with pink AMPS instead of red and black. I'm not going to change any dose for a few days until he calms down a bit. He's eating well, 4 P's in place, there hasn't been any 'play', he's too sad.
Dad update - kidneys are failing, he's beginning to gasp for breath a bit. He did recognize me yesterday, only opened his eyes for a couple of minutes. The small hospice home is VERY nice, the people are wonderful, the owner lives right there on sight too. Most of the nurses are young but have HUGE hearts with full hospice training. They can't do anything for Dad's Parkinson's progression altho' they CAN support his breathing issues due to COPD with extra oxygen and suction when phlegm builds up.
Lots of extra thoughts and prayers for Jason (nitroviper) and Wease - he's walking the same path we just walked with KT altho' it's 'Stinkin' cute baby's' kidneys failing. Wease has an extra special piece of my heart - he looks like my GA Nuisance's 'brudder from anudder mudder'... ;-) We're also holding close Amy as her Dad fights cancer.
BIG HUGS to all that visit today....we're still not ready for a full Yard Dance today but we'll do a few small ones...
