I have the day off - woohoo! But its not all fun & games today - Blackie went to to vet for bloodwork this morning and I have to go to a funeral. Oh well, its still a day off. I should have Blackie's bw results later today and his exam was normal.

WCR: Blackie is feeling fine. I have noticed that his arthritis is a little worse, but he is till getting around okay. He's especially stiff after he's been sleeping. Blackie has become a kitty crack addict. I have been using the LivALittles as treats before & after his fluids. Last night I put a small piece in front of him and he didn't see it, so when I took my hand away he screamed and tried to grab my fingers. :mrgreen: Its a good thing the kitty crack is good for him.

Blackie likes that stuff eh? My two love it like crazy and sometimes I am really sorry I ever started with it. :lol: I have to sprinkle it on top of their meals now....who likes to see sad pitiful kitty eyes when there is none. I use the Pure bites...

Blood work is back - you can see it in my signature link. I was disappointed that it hadn't improved, but it also didn't really get worse. The creatinine was a little higher, but BUN, Phos & Potassium were about the same. So we're continuing with the fluids and will recheck in 2 months. We're still not seeing any action from the dosecrease and this morning was the 4th cycle, so we'll see how it goes for the next 2 cycles.

+6 is a nice yellow. I guess it's a good thing that nothing got worse and that's what you have to focus on right now... Come on Blackie....use this new dose now...come on!!!!

What a good PMPS for Blackie! I guess the new dose is kicking in. Interesting for me to look at Blackie's bloodwork, although I will have to look up what all those abbreviations are (abbreviations are driving me nuts!). Anyway, I'm glad that he is holding steady. That has got to be good.
Have a good night. I hear that the kitties had fun mouse hunting today and that they are all at the party now.
