Happy Caturday to all!!!
Looks like this weekend is cat sitting and parrot training weekend for me. A specialty vet is giving a 2 hour lecture down in Copley, for a very nominal fee....guess where I'll be headed this afternoon! Time to learn about the birds. I had a new client this week with 2 large dogs, 3 cats, and 2 gorgeous parrots. I'll be sitting for her in September, but the parrots are going to a "bird nerd" friend of hers for the 10 days. And that is totally fine with me. Next weekend is shaping up to be a catty time too....7 cats on the schedule for next weekend! I often wonder what my guys think when I come home with all these different animal smells on me. The first few times I got the inspection, but now they just greet and go about their business.
Attie keeps on truckin' into his Caturday! We're running into the same issue we had the last time our dose dropped. Lack of sufficient appetite to slow the reductions down. :? He is back to skipping meals or totally turning his nose up at what is offered. Rabbit made it for 1.5 days. Beef we got 1 meal and the 'finicky food fit,' hit. This morning he licked up all the au jus from the beef and called it done. ohmygod_smile .
I have good intentions of picking up some Forti-flora as a topping, but last night I resorted to my Pet Sitter bag of tricks. In my "bag" I have Iams Savory Gravy for Dogs. Cruising the label I don't see anything immediately jumping out at me that is a nasty, nasty. Calories per tsp is 9 calories. Well, I am not using even that much...just a few drops on top of whatever to tempt.
